Macdonald Book Shop hosts and collaborates on a variety of events throughout the year. Check our events page regularly to see what and where these events are happening. We work closely with the Estes Valley Library where appropriate as well as other stores and venues around town including Inkwell and Brew. Our bookstore is happy to pre-order any book for upcoming events, as well as special order/pre-order any book in print or available.
Macdonald Book Shop Book Tasting
Sumputuous flavors, aromatic aromas, and great tastes accompany wonderful food and alcohol, so why not consider what a book has to offer? Macdonald Book Shop is hosting its first ever Book Tasting so you can sample our books in a different way. Come and join Nicole at 10am on February 12, 2026 to discover new books.
We will have a table in the book store highlighting staff favorites in non-fiction, a few that have caught the eyes of others but have not risen in the best seller rankings, and much more. Categories will include history, hiking, and biographies. Macdonald Book Shop staff will be on hand to talk books.
Come down, read a sample of the book, look at a few reviews, and hopefully go home with some new books. We will have a few extra chairs to make the tasting more comfortable. Plus, there is 15% off for anyone who buys during the event. Please RSVP using the form below.
