Macdonald Book Shop hosts and collaborates on a variety of events throughout the year. Check our events page regularly to see what and where these events are happening. We work closely with the Estes Valley Library where appropriate as well as other stores and venues around town including Inkwell and Brew. Our bookstore is happy to pre-order any book for upcoming events, as well as special order/pre-order any book in print or available.
Macdonald Book Shop’s Independent Book Store Day
Independent Book Store Day is an annual celebration day and in it’s 13th year. Celebrate with Macdonald Book Shop, the last Saturday in April. We are still firming up the details; however, we can tell you, Aimie Runyan will be in attendance to discuss her newest book, releasing on May 26, 2026, called Missed Connections. As always there will be specific Indie Bookstore Day swag and goodies. We are also working on special giveaways specifically from our store. As we get our plans in place we will update this page.
