Macdonald Book Shop is happy to announce Bibliophile Night’s are continuing! As many of you may know, we partner with Estes Valley Library for author talks to help bring books to our community. Macdonald Book Shop, and Inkwell and Brew will be hosting various events throughout the off-season to bring locals together for fun book talks and author signings. We love pre-ordering books you are excited about and setting aside book event titles for our author events. Let us know if there are any books we can pre-order for you.

Independent Book Store Day at Macdonald Book Shop

Join Macdonald Book Shop for the 12th Annual Independent Book Store Day! This national holiday truly helps us celebrate all of the locally owned book shops around the nation and our customers. The Grey House has lent us their Plinko game board to make the day more entertaining. For those who spend $25, you will be given a chance to win one of 75 prizes. We are also anticipating having a Libro.fm Golden Ticket hidden somewhere in the store. For those who love audiobooks, you could be the lucky winner of 12 free credits to use.
We have plenty of IBD swag from pencils to totes, plus a selection of free items for those who make a purchase. These supplies are limited, so make sure you stop by on Saturday, April 26, 2025 to get what you want.
If you are unable to make it, support us through bookshop.org and libro.fm. Both sites offer us a way to help you purchase books online, and often they have special promotions going to help compete with other online portals.
