Macdonald Book Shop hosts and collaborates on a variety of events throughout the year. Check our events page regularly to see what and where these events are happening. We work closely with the Estes Valley Library where appropriate as well as other stores and venues around town including Inkwell and Brew. Our bookstore is happy to pre-order any book for upcoming events, as well as special order/pre-order any book in print or available.
Author Talk with Aimie Runyan @ The Spice Rack
Aimie Runyan has her thirteenth book arriving May 26, 2026. This more contemporary fiction, Missed Connections, offers historical and foodie elements that will definitely make you hungry as you read. Please show your support for our local author, Aimie, by attending her book launch May 26, 2026 at the Spice Rack. We will host an author talk, Q&A session, and signing from 4:30 to 6 pm. Please RSVP using the form below so we know how many goodies to have on hand. Andrea will supply the space and the wonderful pastries to go along with this book release.
