Macdonald Book Shop is happy to announce Bibliophile Night’s are continuing! As many of you may know, we partner with Estes Valley Library for author talks to help bring books to our community. Macdonald Book Shop, and Inkwell and Brew will be hosting various events throughout the off-season to bring locals together for fun book talks and author signings. We love pre-ordering books you are excited about and setting aside book event titles for our author events. Let us know if there are any books we can pre-order for you.

Join Macdonald Book Shop August 2nd, 2025 @ 1pm at The Mountain Shop for kid friendly activities, and an author signing. Danielle Sarli, author and climber, will be signing her book Little Climber. Our shop will be in attendance to help facilitate sales of the book. Reach out to the Mountain Shop to RSVP for the event. Call Macdonald Book Shop to order your copy, so you have it for the event.

Macdonald Book Shop hosts the Find Waldo in Estes Park Event. In collaboration with Penguin Random House, Macdonald Book Shop was given Waldos to hide all over town. Visit 10 or more stores to receive a sticker while supplies last, and $1 off a Waldo book. For those who reach 20 or more shops, you will be entered into our prize drawing. On July 31st from 4 to 6 we will host a Waldo Party with the drawings. Many of the stores have provided prize donations and we are very thankful for all the companies taking part. Stop by Macdonald Book Shop, Estes Valley Library, or the Grey House to get your passport to start hunting Waldos. Each participating store has a cardboard Waldo hidden somewhere inside. Macdonald Book Shop has two things to find including a Magnifying Glass. Enjoy the Hunt! |
